We don't guess. Every calculator on this site uses the exact formulas professional ecommerce operators and media buyers rely on every day.
What Is Dropshipping, and Why the Math Matters
Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment model where you sell products without holding inventory. When a customer places an order on your store, you forward that order to a supplier — usually based in China, the United States, or Europe — who ships the product directly to the customer. You never touch the product. Your profit is the difference between what the customer pays you and what you pay the supplier, minus every other cost of doing business: advertising, payment processing, platform fees, returns, and customer support time.
This sounds simple, and on the surface it is. But the reason most new dropshippers lose money in their first three months is not that they pick bad products — it is that they get the math wrong. They confuse markup with margin. They calculate ROAS on revenue instead of on profit. They forget that payment processors take 2.9% plus a flat fee on every transaction. They price shipping as if it were free. Each of these errors is small in isolation, but stacked across hundreds of orders per month, they quietly turn a "profitable" store into a cash-burning hobby.
That is the problem Shmroz was built to solve. Every calculator on this site exists because we watched real dropshippers — friends, clients, readers of our guides — make the same avoidable mistakes. The Profit Margin Calculator forces you to enter payment processing fees, not just product cost. The ROAS Calculator shows you break-even ROAS next to actual ROAS, so you cannot accidentally scale a losing campaign. The Ad Budget Calculator links your daily spend to your gross margin, which is the only honest way to know whether scaling will make you richer or poorer.
