Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Merii ("we," "our," "us") collects when you use this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

The numbers you type into our calculators and generators — cost prices, selling prices, ad spend, keywords, and so on — are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are never sent to our servers, stored in a database, or seen by us. Beyond that, this site collects the same basic technical information most websites collect, described in full below.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our server and hosting provider automatically log standard technical data on each visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, referring page, and timestamps. This is standard server log data used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding overall traffic — it is not linked to the values you enter into any calculator.

Information you provide directly

If you use the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to submit, solely to respond to your message. We don't add contact form submissions to a marketing list or share them with third parties.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set its own tracking or analytics cookies by default. However, two categories of third-party technology may set cookies or collect data when you visit:

• Google Fonts: our typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files, per Google's own privacy practices.
• Advertising (Google AdSense): if this site displays ads through Google AdSense, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites. You can review and adjust how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com, and find broader industry opt-out options at optout.aboutads.info.

How information is used

We use the limited information described above to operate and secure the site, respond to contact requests, understand aggregate traffic patterns, and — where applicable — support advertising that keeps these tools free to use.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (which, for most visitors, is limited to a contact form message, since calculator inputs never reach us). This includes rights available under the EU/UK GDPR and under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Data security

We take reasonable technical steps to protect the limited information this site handles. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't collect more than we need in the first place, which limits what there is to protect.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
